Story
It all began over 40 years ago when Warren and Denise King stumbled upon a charming vineyard estate while on vacation in California wine country. They fell in love with the possibilities they saw amidst the rolling hills of grape vines. On a whim, they decided to invest their entire modest savings to purchase the fledgling vineyard and adjoining property.

It was all hands on deck in those early pioneering days - Warren tending the vine rows while Denise handled guest relations. Through years of diligent toil, the Kings transformed the site into a premier luxury retreat destination. Their children grew up wandering the idyllic grounds, until taking over operations themselves as adults.
Today, the family legacy continues under the stewardship of sons Zeno King, Darian King, Daughters Sarai King, Zarah King, and Kinsley Smith-King. They uphold their parents' core values of warm hospitality, sustainability, and creating memorable guest experiences. Much has changed and expanded over four decades, yet the resort still feels like an intimate family treasure thanks to the Kings’ very personal touch.
